How does my tree get cut down?

We welcome family traditions of you cutting down your tree.  While you may bring your own hand saw to use.  We ask that you leave your chain saw at home (due to liability issues).  Or, for your convenience, we can provide you with a hand saw.  With that being said - our family is more than happy to cut the tree down for you.

Is a fresh cut needed before I put my tree into a stand?

Your fresh tree is thirsty! The sooner the tree gets into water the better.  We recommend making a fresh cut on the trunk of the tree after 4 hours with no water.

Should I add anything to the water for the tree?

We do not recommend any additives for the water. However, we cannot stress enough how important it is to not let the tree dry out.  Make sure the tree always has plenty of water.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept Discover Card, MasterCard, Visa…..as well as cash, check, and debit.

How do I get my tree?

Once your tree is cut, we bring it to the baling station.  While the tree is being baled, we ask that you pay for your tree at The Shoppe.  The next step is to back your car up to the baling station, match your ticket up to your baled tree and it is ready to go!  We provide twine for you to tie the tree onto your car.

What type of shoes would you recommend while at The Farm?

We highly recommend wearing sneakers, hiking boots, or our favorite - warm and waterproof boots.

Do you sell live trees that we can plant in our yard after the Christmas Season?

We do sell live trees in 5 gallon pots for post-season planting.  These small trees are a perfect gift to give to a family with small children.  The tree and children can grow together.  Please remember that if you plan to plant a live tree shortly after Christmas, the hole should be dug in the fall….before the ground freezes!
